I believe that progress comes from learning, adapting, and implementing the best practices of others. By studying successful models and proven strategies, we can identify what works and apply those methods to improve our own systems. With Oklahoma ranking 49th in the country for education, it’s clear that we must look beyond our borders for solutions. States that excel in education have implemented policies and practices that drive student success, and there’s no reason we can’t do the same. By analyzing and emulating these effective methods, we can foster meaningful change and create a brighter future for our communities. Progress isn’t about reinventing the wheel—it’s about refining it.

To create meaningful improvements, we must take an informed approach—learning from the successes of others while adapting solutions to our unique needs. By reviewing proven strategies and integrating modern tools like AI-powered education platforms and a long-term EdTech master plan, we can give Oklahoma students the resources they need to succeed in a rapidly changing world.

For example, Singapore’s national Adaptive Learning System  and Student Learning Space demonstrate how technology-driven, personalized education can transform learning outcomes.
