Empowering Parents: Transparency, Accountability, and Partnership

Parents are the most important voice in a child’s education, and schools should be partners—not gatekeepers. I will always support full transparency in curriculum, school policies, and decision-making, ensuring that parents know what is being taught and have a seat at the table. Schools work best when families and educators collaborate, not when bureaucratic barriers or political agendas shut parents out. I believe in real parental engagement, not just surface-level involvement, because parents deserve a say in how their children are educated.

At the same time, we must strike the right balance between parental rights, teacher support, and student success. Education should never be politicized or weaponized—our focus should be on academic excellence, not division. While parents must have access to curriculum and school policies, teachers also need the support and trust to do their jobs effectively. The goal is a stronger partnership between schools and families, built on mutual respect, transparency, and accountability—because when parents and educators work together, students win.
